Alumni meeting Erasmus Universiteit in Barcelona
15.07.2007"The world is my home" is a famous quote of Desiderius Erasmus, the philosopher we take our name from.
This saying is still very relevant to our times; the world is getting smaller and people are getting more mobile than ever. And so, Erasmus University is going more and more international. Currently we have some 3,000 students from non-Dutch speaking backgrounds, representing as many as 110 nationalities. We expect the number of foreign students to rise steeply in future years. This calls for drastic changes not only in the set-up for campus but also for the educational program.
We are dedicated to keep you, as alumnus of our university, informed of these developments. On behalf of the Executive Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam I therefore have pleasure in inviting you to attend an Alumni Dinner on Wednesday, September 26th , 2007 in Barcelona. Welcome drinks will be served from 8.30 pm, and dinner will start around 9.00 pm. The venue is the Hotel Gallery, Rosello 249, Barcelona. The hotel is conveniently located between Paseo de Gracia and Rambla de Catalunya.
