Hans Supèr, Co-Founder Braingaze
Hans Supèr has a PhD in Neurobiology and heads the Vision and Control of Action group (www.visca.cat) at the Department of Basic Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, University of Barcelona (UB) in Barcelona. He has over 20 years of experience in the biology of the visual system and psychology of visual perception and attention.
From 1997 to 2005 he worked at the Institute for Neurosciences (NIN), Amsterdam, The Netherlands and became a Principal investigator of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) in 2002. In 2005, he moved to Barcelona where he became an ICREA Research Professor. In 2010 he was selected as a member of the Institute for Research on the Brain, Cognition and Behavior (IR3C).
Hans Supèr has publications in the highest ranking journals like Science, Nature Neuroscience, Proc. Natl Acad Science, USA. He discovered the basic neural principles behind visual perception, and the role of small eye movement in visual attention. He discovered of the technique that BrainGaze S.L. uses for their applications.
